CELLULAR POLYETHYLENE FC

A cellular plastic with a smooth surface. The material has closed cells which makes it seal against moisture and air. The cellular polyethylene is extruded into rolls with a skin surface on both sides and is well used for gaskets and seals when the requirement for compression resistance and the environment is not extreme. Cellular plastics is used a lot for seal strips in cut length as well as on rolls, the material is also well suited as condense and thermal insulation in climate machines and VVS products.
The material comes as an industrial standard color of grey to discretely insulate metal parts, and in a white color to discretely seal white plastic components. It is possible to get the material in other colors as well, although grey and white are the most common colors.

The cellular polyethylene is cross-linked, which means that the material is more tear and tensile resistant. The term cross-link is when the polymer and molecules in the material are linked together into a chain to create a more durable material

It has a broad temperature resistance, between -80° up to 100° degrees and has a set of fire classifications such as FMVSS 302, DIN 4102-1 and UL94 HBF/HF2.

Cellular plastics in general are pure materials and do not release any dangerous substances when combusted.

Cellular Polyethylene (GC)

PE-Layer

EPDM

Excellent aging and ozone properties.
Good acid and alkali resistance, as well as good heat and cold resistance.

Chloroprene (CR)

Good weather, ozone and oil resistance.
The allround option for gaskets, well suited for general industry environments.

Nitrile (NBR)

Excellent oil and good petrol resistance.
We store this material both flat and patterned (ribbed).

Cork, rubber bound

Rubber bound, good oil and petrol resistant cork rubber with a Nitrile (NBR) base.

SBR

Cost efficient solution, wear resistant.
Our NR/SBR material can be acquired in patterned and flat sheeting.
Typically used as floor-mats, or on shelves for protection.

Natural Rubber (PARA)

Soft, very elastic and extremely durable.
You often find this material in the toughest of environments. Such as the drilling and mining
industries.

Bonded Foam

Recycled polyester/ether foam that’s been milled together with a bonding material. A cost effective solution.
